Baghwath Chandrashekhar sits on number 5 on the list of Indian bowlers with most number of overseas test wickets, having bagged a total of 100 overseas test wickets in 26 matches.
Ravichandran Ashwin
The current best spinner in the world, Ravichandran Ashwin now sits on the 2nd position on the list of highest-wicket takers for India in international cricket, having recently surpassed Harbhajan Singh in the 1st test against West Indies in Dominica. He recorded one of his best away figures, collecting 5/60 in the 1st innings and 7/71 in the second innings to finish with a combined figure of 12/131.
Harbhajan Singh
Harbhajan Singh holds the second spot on the list of bowlers with highest number of wickets in test cricket for India with a total of 152 wickets in 48 matches with as many as 7 5-wicket hauls and 10-wicket haul. He is also the third highest-wicket taker for India in international cricket, having recently moved to 3rd position, with Ravichandran Ashwin replacing him.
Bishan Singh Bedi
Bishan Singh Bedi, one of the spine legends of Indian cricket sits on number 3rd position on the list of Indian bowlers with most number of overseas wickets, with 129 wickets in 37 matches. He played Test cricket for India from 1966 to 1979, forming an important part of India’s spin quartet.
Anil Kumble
With the most number of wickets in overseas conditions, Anil Kumble has to top this list. Kumble, India’s former captain has picked up a total of 619 wickets overall, with 269 of them coming away from home. Kumble had picked up as many as 5 10-wicket hauls and a 10-wicket haul overseas.
